Menteri Pertahanan Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin meresmikan fasilitas Sekolah Perwira Prajurit Karier (Sepa PK) TNI di Kodiklat TNI, Tangerang, Banten, pada Senin (29/12), sebagai bagian dari penguatan pembinaan SDM pertahanan. Fasilitas ini dirancang untuk mencetak perwira TNI yang profesional, unggul, dan adaptif dalam menghadapi tantangan strategis.
Dalam arahannya, Menhan Sjafrie menegaskan bahwa modernisasi pendidikan militer merupakan fondasi utama pembangunan kekuatan TNI. Sejalan dengan arahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto, pembinaan karier prajurit kini sepenuhnya mengedepankan prinsip meritokrasi, tanpa pembedaan berdasarkan latar belakang sumber perwira. Prestasi dan kinerja menjadi tolok ukur utama.
Menhan Sjafrie juga meninjau langsung sarana pendidikan serta menegaskan komitmen peningkatan fasilitas agar Sepa PK TNI berkembang sebagai pusat keunggulan. Langkah ini menegaskan bahwa kekuatan pertahanan nasional dibangun melalui personel yang tangguh, berintegritas, dan siap mengawal kedaulatan NKRI.

The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, inaugurated the facilities of the Career Officer School (Sepa PK) of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) at the Indonesian National Armed Forces Training and Education Command (Kodiklat TNI), Tangerang, Banten, on Monday (29 December), as part of efforts to strengthen defence human resource development. The facilities are designed to develop professional, excellent, and adaptive TNI officers capable of responding to strategic challenges.
In the address, Minister Sjafrie emphasised that the modernisation of military education constitutes a fundamental pillar in building TNI capability. In line with the direction of the President Prabowo Subianto, the TNI career development system is now fully grounded in the principle of meritocracy, without distinction based on officers’ entry pathways. Performance and operational competence serve as the primary benchmarks.
Minister Sjafrie also conducted an on-site review of the education facilities and reaffirmed the commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that Sepa PK TNI evolves into a centre of excellence. This initiative underscores that national defence strength is built through resilient, high-integrity personnel who stand ready to safeguard the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia.
